Family Photo by Jason Pirtle
Hello! I’m Orlando, a lifestyle photographer based in Cleveland, Ohio.

My passion for visual storytelling began behind the scenes on video production sets (yes I still work in production), where I learned the art of composition, lighting, and capturing authentic moments. Over time, my love for photography blossomed, and I transitioned from moving images to still frames.
I’m a firm believer that the best education often comes from experience. While I respect formal training, my path was unconventional. I learned by doing—observing seasoned photographers, experimenting with different lenses, and soaking up inspiration from every corner. The mistakes I made were my greatest teachers, shaping my style and approach.
As a lifestyle photographer, I specialize in capturing the everyday magic—the stolen glances, the laughter, the quiet pauses. Families huddled together, children chasing bubbles, couples lost in their own world—I find beauty in these unscripted moments. Life isn’t a perfectly posed portrait; it’s messy, genuine, and utterly captivating.
My favorite studio? The great outdoors. Whether it’s a sun-kissed park, a cozy coffee shop, or a bustling city street, I chase light like a treasure hunter. Golden hour? It’s my muse. The way it dances through leaves kisses skin, and transforms ordinary scenes into extraordinary stories—it’s pure magic.
Photography isn’t just about technical prowess; it’s about connecting with people. I’ve laughed with toddlers, wiped away tears during heartfelt family sessions, and witnessed love stories unfold. Each click is an invitation—an acknowledgment that we’re all part of this beautiful, messy tapestry called life.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me drinking whiskey, exploring hidden gems in Cleveland, hanging with my family (right), writing a screenplay, or playing video games. I believe that creativity thrives when we step outside our comfort zones, so I’m always seeking new adventures.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey. Let’s capture memories together—one frame at a time.
